  6. Just a few "Things":

  8. Setup
  9. =====
  10.  
  11. Required:  Visual Basic 3.0
  12.  
  13. You set up the ToolThings Test Drive just like you would
  14. with any other good Windows software.
  15.  
  16. You must be running MS Windows 3.1, and have Visual Basic 3.0
  17. on your system, as the demo will not work without VB.  Close
  18. all programs in Windows, other than the Program Manager.  This 
  19. insures that any supporting files that ToolThings Test Drive
  20. needs will be properly copied over to your machine.
  21.  
  22. To Install
  23. ----------
  24. From the Program Manager choose the "Run" menu option from the PM's 
  25. File Menu, and in the "Command Line:" box, type: 
  26.  
  27.                      <Drive:\PATH>\setup.exe
  28.  
  29. and choose "OK."  ToolThings' Test Drive setup will commence.
  30. You may also run the setup.exe file from the File Manager.
  31.  
  32. Follow the instructions in the setup, and the demo will be
  33. installed where directed on your hard disk drive.

  36. Running the Test Drive
  37. ======================

  39. PLEASE NOTE THAT VB CANNOT BE LOADED WHEN YOU START THE DEMO.

  42. When you run the ttdemo app, VB will automatically be loaded.
  43. You can use the Nudge Thing, your exciting control alignment 
  44. tool.  None of the capabilities of Nudge Thing have been 
  45. crippled for the demo.  It is a fully functioning application.
  46.  
  47. HOWEVER, there are restrictions.  Although you can use all of 
  48. Nudge Thing's features, you CANNOT save or print any of the 
  49. forms you create during the demo.
  50.  
  51. Each button in Nudge Thing has a tool tip, and tips can be
  52. toggled on or off.  Try all of the features.  We're sure you'll
  53. agree that Nudge Thing is the most comprehensive alignment
  54. tool available for VB, and it's only one tenth of this great
  55. VB tool set!
  56.
